The Process

Simplification Study

A Simplification or Feasibility Study is necessary because every organization is unique with different systems, goals, processes, requirements, and opportunities. This is not a cookie cutter offering. The goal of the Simplification Study is to lay out a road map and pricing to reach the monthly maintenance phase by gaining an understanding of the client’s current processes, reporting needs / wants, and opportunities to add value. A Simplification Study is usually 1-2 days of field work consisting of staff interviews (as applicable), gaining access to applicable software, analyzing transactions and processes, etc.

Implementation

Implementation is only needed if there are significant process modifications and or clean up needed to move towards the monthly on-going service phase.

On-Going Service

A flat monthly service fee that can include services for bookkeeping, financial reporting, cash expenditures, invoice drafting, document retention, cash forecasting, earnings projections, etc. Factors that affect ongoing monthly pricing include the number of monthly transactions, number of monthly reconciliations, job costing complexity, financial reporting requirements, KPI’s, labor allocation complexities, number of monthly cash expenditures, number of monthly client invoices to be drafted, etc.

Consulting

In addition to the monthly On-Going Service, a client may need additional consulting services and one-off ad hoc projects.
