Tell us about yourself and your family.

I was born and raised in northwest Ohio, in Findlay. I attended The Ohio State University, where I met my wife Julie through a mutual friend at a Buckeye football game! We both came from different parts of Ohio to attend Ohio State, and we have never left Columbus since! Julie is a RN, BSN and serves as a primary nurse for head and neck surgical oncologists at The James Cancer Hospital with Ohio State. We bought our first home together in 2022 in Westerville, and we’ve started to grow our family by welcoming a yellow Labrador puppy named Bogey.

Why did you pursue a career in finance?

I loved math growing up, and I always wanted to be financially savvy, so my future family did not have stress when it came to money. My entire career has been in financial services including experience in residential mortgage lending to consumers, and life insurance wholesaling to insurance agents. In these roles the relationships we had were primarily transactional, where we were dependent on closing a deal to get compensated. What I love about our team at Antolino & Associates is that our best relationships are consultative around every aspect of their financial life. As fiduciaries we are always acting in the best interest of our client, and we are independent which means we can use any company and any solution that we see fit.

What is your role at Antolino & Associates?

I am one of our Advisors, and a Certified Financial Planner®. I am a lead advisor with professionals nearing or in retirement, and I work with a lot of our young professionals with futures brighter than their past that are looking for someone to grow with them as life becomes more complicated. My role as an advisor for the team is to provide excellent service to existing relationships and seek out potential future graduates of The UltraVision System®.

What might we catch you doing for fun on the weekend?

You will catch Julie and I taking Bogey on a walk around Uptown Westerville, or one of the many great parks around Central Ohio. My wife and I have many annual trips/traditions that include a Buckeye football road game, Night Under Fire in Norwalk, Hocking Hills, Kelley’s Island, and the Weich Family Pepper Relish outing during the first Browns game. We also love the restaurant scene around Columbus, and I have an extensive list if you ever need a recommendation!
